Win a Unique Piece of Eventing History

Over the past six months, the British Eventing Support Trust has been collecting horseshoes from some of the sport’s greatest equine stars. Those shoes have now been transformed into a stunning, one-of-a-kind sculpture by renowned farrier Oliver Mitchell, creating a truly special piece of eventing memorabilia.

Today, we’re delighted to launch a fundraising raffle, giving one lucky supporter the opportunity to take this remarkable sculpture home while helping us continue our vital work supporting British Eventing competing members.

Standing approximately 3ft 6in tall, the handcrafted sculpture has been forged from the horseshoes of some of eventing’s most celebrated horses, including London 52, Lordships Graffalo, Murphy Himself, JL Dublin, Colorado Blue, Vitali, Ballaghmor Class and many more. Every horseshoe tells the story of an extraordinary partnership, making this a unique tribute to the sport we all love.

Tickets cost £25 each, with every entry helping the British Eventing Support Trust provide practical, financial and emotional support to British Eventing competing members recovering from injury, accidents and mental health challenges.

The winning ticket will be drawn by our President, HRH The Princess Royal, during Defender Burghley Horse Trials on Sunday 6 September.

Whether you’re an eventing enthusiast, a collector of equestrian memorabilia or simply want to support the work of the Trust, this is your chance to own a truly irreplaceable piece of eventing history.
